I was given some pear shrub from the kind folks at Cure and after some consultation decided to try it out with an old fashioned variation.
This version can definitely be improved upon, so looking forward to seeing what folks have for recommendations.
1½ oz. Cana Brava Rum
1 oz. Dictador Columbian Rum
½ oz. Pear Shrub
2 dashes of Bittermen's Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Orange peel for garnsih
Build ingredients in a rocks glass over ice. Stir until mixed and chilled. Swipe rim with peel and drop on top. Sip or guzzle depending on your mood.
