About this Cocktail

A classic spurned from 1920s Chicago

  • 60ml Gin
  • 2 bar spoons of caster sugar
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 15 mint leaves

Throw all of your ingredients into a shaker, shake and double strain

    It's not well known in Liverpool, but is something we try and push in our bar. We've made a couple twists too, it works brilliantly with an Earl Grey infused Velvet Flarnum.

    Have you ever heard of Bar Keep Bitters? They make a lavender spice I bet that be good too!

    Lavender would work Brilliantly. It's such a versatile drink and so refreshing! If you ever wanted to sweeten up the drink at all you could add a handful of strawberries and a bar spoon of Balsamic vinegar. Beautiful.
