A friend and I heard about this from a friend in England and the bartenders at Blueprint in park slope were able to craft one on the fly.
2 Parts Vanilla vodka
1 tablespoon fresh Lime juice, strained
1 teaspoon Honey or Honey syrup
1 tablespoon Elderflower syrup or St. Germain
A dash of water
2 hot Birds Eye chilies
Combine the vodka, lime juice, water, honey and a few slices of the chilli and shake with ice. The chilies need not be muddled to add spice, however you can muddle them if you really want to turn up the heat.
To serve, strain into a Martini glass and garnish with a whole bird's eye chilli.
This cocktail tastes hot sweet and sour. Its amazing!
Note: Be sure to remove any seeds from the chili slices you use.
