I created this cocktail for use at Blackberry Farm, a Relais & Chateaux resort located in Walland, TN. The fresh taste of cucumber and the brightness of the lemon juice bring out the amazing flavors in the gin and chartreuse.
1.5 oz. Hendrick's Gin
.5 oz. Green Chartreuse
.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
.25 oz. Simple Syrup (2:1 ratio)
2 slices of peeled cucumber
In an empty cocktail shaker add everything and muddle in order to break up the cucumber slices. Add ice and shake till cold. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a freshly cut cucumber slice.
