Spring Thing

About this Cocktail

On a day most of the US faced a blizzard, how ‘bout a bright and airy cocktail from whats.marisa.drinking. So, give it a whirl and you’ll be happy you did. By the way, Marisa muddled a basil leaf, I didn’t.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz Tanquerey Ten Gin
• 1/2 oz Caravella Limoncello
• 2/3 oz Hibiscus Syrup
• 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
• Lemon slice & flower garnishes
• Hibiscus 🌺 Salt (rim)

Preparation:

Prepare a medium size rocks glass with lemon juice & a pink hibiscus salted rim. (My addition to the recipe)

Combine all ingredients (save the garnishes) into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously until well chilled and double strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with a lemon 🍋 slice or two and flowers.
