A minute recipe deviation from mixologist H Joseph Ehrmann of @ElixirSF from back in 2010 — the Starburst features Kiwi 🥝 fruit! Peel it, dice it and muddle away with a couple of other fruit flavors and you’re end up with a a mixture of sweet & sour flavors!
1/2 Kiwi diced diced for muddling
2 oz Absolut Mandarin Vodka
1/2 oz Aperol Liqueur
1 oz Mango 🥭 Syrup
2 Kiwi 🥝 Slices for Garnish
1 - 2 oz Club Soda
1 SurfSideSips glass straw
Cut up 1/2 a Kiwi into quarters or more. Keep two slices from the remaining half for the garnish later on.
Add the Kiwi and remaining ingredients into a cocktail shaker and muddle the fruit thoroughly. Add ice & shake thoroughly until well chilled.
Double strain into a high ball glass over fresh ice. (Note: The Kiwi seeds are not seen in the picture, but they’re on there. Strain more or less if you’re sees adverse.)
