I made this cocktail for some friends who were good enough to buy me tickets to see the black metal band Watain who played across the street from my bar on my birthday, and named it after one of my favorite of their songs. It's big, smoky, black, and spicy.
2 oz. mezcal
.75 oz. grapefruit
.5 oz. tamarind syrup
.5 oz. honey
7-9 dashes Bitter Boy prickly pear bitters
Add all ingredients to your shaker, spirit and bitters last. Shake hard and fast, then double strain.
