This Vegan friendly Middle Eastern inspired Gin Sour was the overwhelming favourite at this months Cocktail Club at The Good Spirits Co.in Glasgow. If you haven’t tried this Dutch Gin I highly recommend it. Lovely lemon sherbet notes.
50ml Bobby’s Gin
25ml fresh lemon juice
25ml Tabbouleh Syrup*
Add all ingredients to shaker with roughly a handful of parsley, mint and cucumber. Dry shake then fill with ice and shake again. Double strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a slice of cucumber.
*For The Syrup add 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tablespoon of cumin and 1 tablespoon of Lebanese 7 spice to 600grams of sugar and 300ml water and heat gently until sugar has dissolved. This will separate if left for any length of time so shake to combine before use.
