About this Cocktail
I came up with this as an Atlanta special for a super bowl party we hosted. It was really well balanced, and going a bit heavy on the rum was a nice variation of splitting the base.
1 part Southern Rye (13th colony)
1/2 part Angostura 7 year rum
1/2 part Merlet Creme de peche
2 parts fresh squeezed peach juice
1/2 part fresh lemon
1/2 part simple
2 dashes each of Bitter Truth and Fee Brothers peach bitters.
Build with all ingredients, add ice, shake well and double strain into cocktail coupe. Add fresh peach slice for garnish.
