About this Cocktail

I came up with this as an Atlanta special for a super bowl party we hosted. It was really well balanced, and going a bit heavy on the rum was a nice variation of splitting the base.

Ingredients:
  • 1 part Southern Rye (13th colony)
  • 1/2 part Angostura 7 year rum
  • 1/2 part Merlet Creme de peche
  • 2 parts fresh squeezed peach juice
  • 1/2 part fresh lemon
  • 1/2 part simple
  • 2 dashes each of Bitter Truth and Fee Brothers peach bitters.
Preparation:

Build with all ingredients, add ice, shake well and double strain into cocktail coupe. Add fresh peach slice for garnish.
