About this Cocktail

Whiskey sour variation, some Hot Toddy influence. Developed for 12ML at Coquette, Fall 2010. Pronounced boh-din, bow (as in wow)-din, or baw-din.

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • .75 oz honey syrup
  • .5 lemon juice
  • 1 dash hot sauce

Shake, rocks, lemon peel.

Honey syrup: 2:1 honey to hot water. No additional sweetener.

Developed with Louisiana brand hot sauce, usually made with Tabasco.

    This drink is incredible. Made with Rittenhouse tonight (although the recipe calls for bourbon) and I just can't get enough
