The Bennett Cocktail

About this Cocktail

Mixologist Gaz Regan was responsible for the resurgence of this 1930s cocktail. He tinkered with the proportions to get it just right. It’s a cocktail in perfect balance.

Similar to a Gimlet, the addition of aromatic bitters makes it sing. It should be served ice-cold and absolutely clear, free of lime-bits or ice shards, so double strain is a must.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Tanquerey Gin
  • 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Preparation:

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously until chilled.

Double strain into a chilled coupe.

No garnish.
