About this Cocktail

As the peak of summer hits and begins to wane, I've been craving cocktails (or seltzer water) with Lavender Bitters and a Lemon Peel. Once again, Mayfair Gin shines through with it's depth of herbal notes and smooth mouth feel. This is a smooth, dry, tart and herbalescent homage to the English Garden.

  • 2 oz Mayfair London Dry Gin
  • 0.75 oz Dolin Blanc
  • 0.5 oz Honey Syrup
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 2 dashes of Lavender Bitters
  • 1/8th Tsp Crushed Dried Thyme or 1/4 Sprig Muddled Fresh Thyme
  • A few drops of Pernod
  • A dropper full of Fernet Branca
  • Lemon Peel

-Add Gin, Dolin Blanc, Honey Syrup, Lemon Juice, Lavender Bitters, Thyme, Pernod and ice to tin. Shake, shake, shake shake.
-Double strain into Double Rocks glass over one large cube of ice.
-Float dropper full of Fernet on top.
-Express lemon peel and garnish
