Some six months ago, I came across this aptly named tiki cocktail—it is a derivation of the Jeff Berry’s recipe. I wish I took the time to try Berry’s recipe as well, but I’ll have to get around that in the coming days or weeks.
2 oz Dark Rum (I used Appleton)
1 oz Coconut Rum (I used Malibu)
1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
1 oz Coconut Cream
Lime Wheel Garnish
Glass: 33+ years old souvenir from my & @Mary first trip to Orlando
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with a smaller amount of pebble ice.
Whip shake the shaker to prompt some dilution and strain into a chilled pebble ice filled hurricane or tiki glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and optional pineapple fronds.
