About this Cocktail

A spooky new cocktail I’ve been devising for The Vintage’s fall menu. This one has an unholy union between Tequila, Mezcal, and Gin - oh my!!! Beware!!! Only serious cocktail imbibers may continue...

Ingredients:
  • 1.25 oz Cinnamon Green-Rooibos Infused Reposado Tequila
  • 0.5 oz Mezcal
  • 0.25 oz Townshend’s Gin
  • 0.25 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 0.25 oz Allspice Dram
  • 0.5 oz Agave Syrup
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Black Currant Preserves
  • 2 large Cucumber Slices
  • 3 drops Bittermens Burlesque Bitters
Preparation:

Muddle cucumbers with black currant preserves, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add everything and ice, shake, then strain into an old fashioned glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.

* Cinnamon Green Rooibos-Infused Reposado Tequila:
- Add 2-3 TBS Green Rooibos loose leaf tea, 2 Cinnamon sticks and one 750ml bottle of Reposado Tequila to a quart-sized jar. Seal and let steep for 1-2 hours. Strain out tea leaves, and leave cinnamon sticks in the Tequila bottle for 2-3 more days.
