About this Cocktail
My first sherry cocktail. An American rye creation, heavy on the sherry, a bit flowery, with a taste for Italian oeuvre....
2 oz. rye whiskey
1 oz. oloroso sherry
.5 oz. Luxardo Maraschino
.5 tsp hibiscus concentrate
Stir over ice, strain and serve up, Nick & Nota glass, edible hibiscus garnish.
Rittenhouse is usually my go-to but a lighter, sweeter rye is best here.
