Fresh take on the Apple martini for Halloween

Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 3/4 ounce fresh Granny Smith apple juice*
  • 3/4 ounce sour syrup**
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce aquafaba or egg white
Preparation:

Sweet & Sour partial rim (2 tsp sugar, punch citric acid)

Pour ingredients into shaker and shake, or dry shake if using foaming agent, followed by ice shake.

Garnish with fresh apple slices and drops of grenadine “poison”

*150 grams fresh Granny Smith apple, 15 grams fresh celery, 50 grams water, blend thoroughly and strain. Yield 5.7 ounces

**sour syrup: 142 grams cool simple syrup, 4 grams citric acid, shake vigorously to blend
