About this Cocktail

First post! I invented this cocktail to celebrate the opening of a friend's eponymous, fantastic new bakery/pastry/coffee shop in Arlington VA. It proved a hit - sweet, tart and earthy (with a touch of effervescent class) - so I thought I'd post it here. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Rhubarb (Art in the Age)
  • .5 oz Crème de Mûre (G.E. Massenez)
  • .5 oz lime
  • Champagne/Sparkling float
Preparation:

Combine the Rhubarb, Creme de Mure and lime juice in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into a coupe, top with some bubbly.
