A reshake from omakasecocktails perfect tiki cocktail back in the summer of 2019...ah the good old days. Back when most of the world weren’t wearing a mask and being 6’ apart (or 1.9m for those of you on the metric
system) meant maybe you forgot to shower that day or week? I doubled the ingredients and subbed the original Elderflower Syrup with my own St Germain/Simple Syrup Blend, but one thing is a constant — this is a heck of a cocktail that will have you asking for a second long before you finish the first.
1.5 oz White Bacardi Rum
1.5 oz 1800 Blanco Tequila
1.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
.75 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
.75 Agave Syrup
.375 oz St Germain Liqueur
.375 oz Simple Syrup
4 dashes Peychauds Bitters
Dehydrated Lime & Umbrella ☂ Garnish
Glass Bamboo @surfsidesips straw
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker & add a small amount of pebble ice to get the dilution going and wee bit of a chill.
Prepare a chilled hurricane glass (tiki if you wish) halfway filled with pebble ice.
Strain the cocktail shaker into the glass & top with more ice if needed. Garnish, add a straw and enjoy.
