About this Cocktail
January cocktail special at Trattoria Piatto.
Essentially a gin mojito, replacing mint for sage. The sweet element is a syrup made from a tangerine IPA. Recipe to follow.
1.5 oz Bluecoat gin
1 oz. IPA syrup
.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
6-8 fresh sage leaves
Shake all ingredients over ice and pour all contents into a Collins glass.
Alternatively, you can muddle the sage and lemon to bring out more sage flavor then shake, but it's not entirely necessary.
