About this Cocktail

A New Orleans classic

Ingredients:
  • .75 oz Rye
  • .75 oz Cognac (or Calvados!)
  • .75 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 barspoon Benedictine
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Garnish: lemon or orange twist
Preparation:

Stir over ice in a mixing glass until well chilled. Strain into an old-fashioned glass with a large rock or serve up in a martini glass. Add garnish.
