With props to Wisecraft_mixology, a tip of the hat to the Aviation to their ‘Cleared for Takeoff’. Bypassing butterfly pea flowers and orange for lemon bitters, a pretty and wonderful drink.
2 oz Empress 1908 Gin
1/2 oz St Germain Elderflower
1/4 oz Gifford Creme de Violette
2/3 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
3 drops orange bitters
1 egg white
Luxardo Maraschino rinse
Dehydrated lemon/orange wheel
Rinse a Nick and Nora glass with Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and discard excess. Chill glass while preparing drink.
Dry shake remaining ingredients for 20-30 seconds.
Add ice and shake hard for another 20-30 seconds.
Double-strain into the chilled Nick and Nora glass and float a dehydrated lemon wheel atop the foam.
