About this Cocktail

A short time ago I mentioned watching “Somebody Feed Phil” and its feature on a Haitian Rum Sour. Without a rum from Haiti, I set out first to make a Raleigh Rum Sour, but soon thereafter prepared this Jamaican Rum Sour.

Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 oz Myer’s Dark Rum
  • 1 tsp Honey 🍯
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • Cinnamon stick garnish
Preparation:

Combine all but the garnish into a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake vigorously until chilled.

Strain over fresh ice into a chilled rocks glass.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
