About this Cocktail

Having seen Shawn Organ's riff on Carlie Steiner's original from Washington, D.C.'s Himitsu...my riff goes even further, but keeps the Sherry and Green Charteuse base elements.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Sherry
  • 1.5 oz Green Charteuse
  • 1.0 oz Brandy (Note: original recipe calls for Bolivian Brandy)
  • 0.25 oz Cherry Heering
  • 1.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1.0 oz Simple Sugar
  • 1.5 oz Owen's Craft Mint/Cucumber/Lime mixer in place of 4" cucumber and mint herbs
Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then fill it with ice.

Shake thoroughly for 15-20 seconds and strain over fresh ice.

Garnish with a lime peel, wedge or an Exclamation Point (!) for those who can't handle the Charteuse!
