About this Cocktail

Can't remember where we got this but helps pacify the neighbor

  • 1 oz Plymouth London dry gin
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 3/4 oz green chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz luxardo maraschino
  • Dash absinthe
  • 1 egg white

Shake all over ice and strain into coupe. No garnish

  • Anne Driscoll
    As the neighbor I concur
  • Brandon Herring
    This sounds fantastic.
  • Danny Cymbal
This is a slight variation of a 'Last Word' cocktail, which is equal parts gin, green chartreuse, maraschino and lime juice. (Sorry to geek out)
  • Chris Schultz
Great cocktail when mixed by its creator, Eryk.
  • Peter Bodenheimer
It's as fantastic as it sounds.
  • Dan Stone
    Mmmm, last word sour.
  • Stew Ellington
This awesome tipple was created by Alex Conde. He may have been working at Hudson in Oakland, CA when he came up with it; he served it there. Sadly, the owners sold the place. Don't know where Alex ended up, but would love to find out.

As a lover of the Last Word and a believer that both absinthe and egg are things that both almost always improve rinks this looked worth trying and it is a cracker.

    So so so good

Please forgive me if these are stupid questions, but you use raw egg white? Is that what gives it foam?
  • Andrea Rodriguez
    Yummy! Drinking now!
  • Karl Barrow
I made this without the egg white (I dislike egg white flips) and it was delicious! Very similar to a Last Word.
