About this Cocktail
A delightful play on the Papa Doble, or Hemingway special daiquiri. It keeps the essence of a classic daiquiri, and uses Maraschino and grapefruit bitters in a nod to the Hemingway favorite.
2 oz sliver rum, such as Matusalem or Bacardi
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup
1 tsp Luxardo Maraschino
2 dashes Scrappy's grapefruit bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass partly filled with ice. Cover, shake, and fine strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lime slice
