It's my take on an Old Fashioned that came about when trying to find and application for Abano.
2 oz Bulleit Bourbon
1/4 oz Luxardo Amaro Abano
1 sugar cube
Just a squirt of lemon juice
Place sugar cube in mixing glass and cover with Abano. Muddle the cube, add the lemon juice and keep stirring. Add the bourbon, stir, slowly add ice and continue stirring until glass is frosty. Strain into a tumbler straight up, express lemon oil on top of drink and inside of glass. Rub peel on rim of glass and enjoy.
